Subject: Chicks beach area
Can ANYONE please help me with this area? When I google that area only one rental place comes up and they are NOT receiving e-mails at this time and don't know how to get ahold of them. When I go to vbro or someplace like that I don't know streets, area, etc. to look for that puts me in chicks beach area. They do not have it named chicks beach on those sites. So if anyone can point me to street names/areas or a realtor, etc. that has places in that area I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks

Chicks beack is the area where the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel hits Virginia Beach. This is a residential area of Virginia Beach. Mr Chick used to have a hotdog stand on the beach. Then it was renamed Alexanders on the Bay. Then a storm demolished the place. If you wand to find Checks Beach you could try Google Earth and look for The Bridge tunnel. There are no big Motels on Chicks Beach. There are some beach houses that you could rent by the week. If you don't mind me asking why did you pick Checks Beach?

Well for one I have an old high school friend that lives there and would like to hook up. 2nd we plan on bringing our great dane and it seems to be a very friendly dog community (both beach and some restaurants) and we are NOT the type to leave him in a hotel room or even in a rental house without us. If he can't go places, walk around with us then we would stay home basically. It will be my 50th birthday so Kids and night scene are not a big issue for us just relaxation and getting away from this darn snow, lol. We also were looking at coming in April for the hot rod car show since we restore cars and that would be enjoyable for us and hopefully he can walk the boardwalk at that time with us. If there is another close place (prefer cottages and houses instead of hotels with a dog) then I am open to any and all suggestions. Even how the weather is so I know how to pack, lol.
Thanks

there is the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel on Shore Drive, in the chicks beach area! It is a really nice, bayfront high rise hotel, really close to the busier oceanfront. I have stayed there several times and been very pleased!
