Rudee Rocket is your source for lots
of wet and wild fun! She’s a
70 foot long yellow vessel with 2,000
horsepower and the teeth to prove
it. Rudee Rocket is Coast Guard certified
and equipped with all required safety
gear.
Your adventure on
Rudee Rocket starts when you launch
from the docks of the Virginia Beach
Fishing Center located at 200 Winston
Salem Ave. at the south end of the
resort strip. After exiting Rudee
Inlet, the boat will turn to the north
and travel along the shoreline of
Virginia Beach. You’ll learn
exciting facts about the history of
the Virginia Beach oceanfront as you
sail along the coast. You’ll
also get an up-close and personal
look at some of our most special marine
friends.
Once the boat travels
past the high-rise hotels and condos,
you will see the Virginia Beach gold
coast of premier homes (the famous
North End). North of the gold coast
the boat will venture towards the
Chesapeake Bay where you’ll
see the lighthouse that marks the
union of bay and ocean waters and
stands as a marker that honors the
area’s revered history.
We
will coast the shores of the historic
First Landing Park, site of our ancestors’
first passage into North America.
The boat will then reverse its course
and search the water for marine creatures
such as dolphins, whales and such,
while giving our guests the thrill
ride of a lifetime! |
