Virginia Beach Boardwalk
The 3 mile long boardwalk stretches along the oceanfront from 3rd street to 40th Street. It is 28-feet wide and features a bike path to accommodate bicycles, surreys and skaters.

The East side of Atlantic Avenue has a string of hotels which all back up to the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and Bicycle path. On the east side of Atlantic Avenue you'll find all kinds of beach shops, restaurants and other stores.

There are easily 50 oceanfront hotels on Atlantic Avenue that back right up to Virginia Beach. Many of them have restaurants, so stroll off the beach, across the boardwalk (watch out for bikes) and enjoy anyone of the many restaurants.
